Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas – SAAVETX Educatin Fund (SAAVETXEF) strongly condemns the heinous act of violence that took place in Allen, TX on May 6th, 2023, resulting in the loss of 8 innocent lives and leaving 7 more wounded. This mass shooting has deeply shaken us, and our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those affected.
The recent shooting has hit close to home, and we want to acknowledge the shock and sadness that we are all feeling. It's important to remember that seeking help is a sign of strength, and we encourage anyone struggling during this difficult time to reach out for support. Despite any stigma that may exist, there are resources available to help you. Remember to prioritize your well-being and look out for one another during this challenging time. MAPS Healing Circles are support groups led by licensed Therapists for the community to have a safe space to engage in discussion, provide necessary support and local resources during a community crisis. We will send the zoom link to all that are registered for the virtual one. For the in- person one, you just need to drop off your kids. Thank you
