It all started when…

From its humble beginnings, the SAAVETX Education Fund has grown into a statewide organization with chapters all over Texas. Starting with a small group of passionate individuals, the organization has expanded its reach and impact, becoming a leading force in promoting civic engagement and political education within the South Asian community.

Through dedicated efforts and grassroots organizing, the SAAVETX Education Fund has established chapters in major cities and counties across the state, including Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and more. These chapters serve as local hubs of community organizing, voter registration drives, and educational initiatives, tailored to the specific needs and demographics of each region.

The SAAVETX Education Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting civic engagement and education within the South Asian community in Texas. We believe in empowering individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to participate actively in the democratic process and make informed decisions.

Our organization provides educational programs, resources, and outreach initiatives to increase voter registration, voter turnout, and political awareness among South Asian Texans. We work to bridge the gap between communities and elected officials, advocating for issues that are important to our community and fostering a greater understanding of the democratic system.

Through collaborative efforts, community partnerships, and grassroots organizing, the SAAVETX Education Fund strives to create a more inclusive, informed, and engaged South Asian community that actively participates in shaping the future of Texas. We are committed to promoting social justice, equality, and civic empowerment for all South Asian Texans.
