CIVIC CENTER is designed to give South Asian voters tools to make informed decisions during elections. This app will:
Simplify Ballot Information: details about candidates, propositions, and policies on their specific ballot .
Identify Your Representatives: helps users discover who currently represents them ensuring they understand who is shaping policies that impact their lives.
Create Personalized Voting Plans: allows users to plan their voting day, locate polling places, and set reminders to ensure they never miss an election.
Encourage Community Engagement: It provides a space to connect with other South Asian voters and share insights, fostering collective participation and building a stronger civic voice.

Primary Basics: Primaries are elections held by political parties to choose their candidates for the general elections. They occur at the local, state, and national levels and involve selecting candidates for positions such as president, senator, representative, and other local offices.

By participating in the Primaries, South Asian Americans can help shape the political landscape, ensuring that candidates who represent their interests and concerns are selected.

February 17, 2026:First Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance
February 20, 2026: Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (Received, not Postmarked)
February 27, 2026: Last Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance
March 3, 2026: Last day to Receive Ballot by Mail at 7 PM
Tuesday March 3, 2026: Election Day

Locate a Polling Place: Find your polling location where you will cast your vote.
Check Voting Hours: Confirm eh voting hours.

Bring Identification: Bring a valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license, passport, or voter registration card.
Review the Ballot: Once at the polling station, carefully review the ballot.
Cast Your Vote: Use the voting equipment provided at the polling place.
