SAAVETX EF  is a dynamic and community-focused organization dedicated to empowering south asians for civic engagement. We are seeking a part-time Part-Time Program Support to support our initiatives and contribute to our goals.

Job Summary:

As a Part-Time Program Support, you will play a crucial role in our organization's mission. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks such as phone banking, texting, data entry, running webinars, volunteering at booths, reaching out to vendors, calling volunteers, and recruiting volunteers. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the community and is looking for a part-time opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause.

Key projects:

  • Conduct phone banking and texting campaigns to engage with community members.

  • Event Support 

  • Programs Coordinations 

  • Support staff and programs team to implement projects 

  • Accurate and efficient data entry and maintenance of records.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of webinars, including setup and coordination.

  • Tabling booths during community events and engaging with attendees.

  • Reach out to potential vendors and partners to support our projects.

  • Call and communicate with volunteers to coordinate their involvement.

  • Actively recruit new volunteers to expand our team and support our projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.

  • Committed to goals and productivity for each task. 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in using office software, including spreadsheets and databases.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

  • A passion for community engagement and the organization's mission.

  • Prior experience in a similar role or volunteer work is a plus.

  • Being proficient in any South Asian language is helpful 

Schedule and Compensation:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for those looking for supplementary income.

Compensation will be dependent on experience. Average $15
