As we prepare for one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime, SAAVETX Education Fund is building a strong network of City Leads to help expand civic engagement and localized power across Texas. Over the past few years, we’ve tested regional organizing strategies across Texas — and the results are clear: when we build micro–teams in cities across the state, our community turnout increases by nearly 10% above the Texas average. Your leadership directly fuels this impact.
We’re seeking volunteers who can contribute just 5–10 hours a month to strengthen South Asian voter participation in their cities. No prior training or experience is required — your enthusiasm and commitment to our community are what matter most.
Our City Lead Virtual Orientation will be held on December 3rd at 7:00 PM (CT). During this session, you’ll learn more about SAAVETX Education Fund’s mission, the expectations of the role, upcoming trainings, and the statewide programs you can be a part of. Most importantly, you’ll see the real impact your leadership can have in shaping local power.
As a City Lead, you’ll develop relationships with local elected officials, build neighborhood-based volunteer teams, and become a focal point for important issues affecting your city. You’ll help organize community events, lead voter outreach efforts, and bring visibility to the needs and priorities of South Asians across Texas.
Sign up today and take the first step toward making a meaningful difference.
