Bonds/Propositions: Bonds and propositions are measures that allow local governments to raise funds for specific projects or initiatives. When voters are asked to approve a bond or proposition, they are essentially being asked to authorize the government to borrow money by selling bonds. These funds are typically used for important infrastructure projects such as building or renovating schools, roads, bridges, parks, public facilities, or other community projects. Bonds are repaid over time, usually through taxes or other revenue sources.

Why should I vote? By voting for bonds or propositions that align with their priorities, voters can help shape the future of their community and contribute to its growth and development.

.Appraisal District Board of Directors: The Appraisal District Board of Directors oversees the property tax appraisal process within a designated area. This board is responsible for ensuring that property values are assessed accurately and fairly, which in turn affects property tax assessments. The board may establish policies and procedures for property appraisals, review assessment appeals, and make decisions related to the operation of the appraisal district.

Why should I vote?By electing board members who are committed to transparency, fairness, and accountability in the appraisal process, voters can help protect their property rights and ensure that taxes are assessed fairly.

School Board Seats: School boards are governing bodies responsible for overseeing local public schools. School board members are elected officials who make important decisions regarding school policies, budgets, curriculum, staffing, and facilities. They represent the interests of students, parents, teachers, and the community at large. School board elections are critical as they directly impact the quality of education provided to students and the overall effectiveness of the school district.

Why should I vote By electing qualified and dedicated individuals to the school board, voters can help ensure that schools are well-managed, students receive a high-quality education, and resources are allocated effectively to support student success.
